Dust Recordings is an independent record company in Morton, IL. Dust Recordings also acts as a distributor and store for bands and labels we think are worth promoting in the Midwest.
Store: We have an online store at our website (www.dustrecordings.com). We also have merchandise tables, consisting of all bands on our label or distributed by us, at all Dust Recordings presentations. Distribution: Bands releasing albums exclusively on Dust Recordings are distributed to stores throughout central Illinois that are will to accept consignment. Demo Policy: We are not currently looking for bands to sign to Dust Recordings. However, if you manage a band that may be interested in performing at a Dust Recordings presentation, please send promotional material to us, please include a bio and photo with your demo cassette, vinyl, or cd. Consignment: If you manage a band in the Midwest that may be interested in attaining consignment through Dust Recordings, contact us via email with a link to your band’s website with sound files. If you send a package to us please include a bio and promotional photo with your cassette, vinyl, or cd release. Portable Studio Services: Dust provides affordable recording services for any band near Peoria, IL or Bloomington, IL, although our equipment is somewhat limited. We can only do this service on location (your practice space or show). We can’t give you a pro sound but we can produce a clear balanced recording for $10 an hour. Dust Street Team: We are looking for anybody interested in handing out our promotional items to the public. This generally would include flyers, free cassette singles, stickers, buttons, discount concert tickets, etc. Members of our "street team" receive discounts on all Dust Recordings merchandise and other special perks that come with helping endangered underground music.
